Representative Director, CEO Wataru Aoki
Wataru Aoki: Co-founder and CEO. Born in 1982. After graduating from Kobe Pharmaceutical University, he worked as an MR at pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, then gained clinical experience as a pharmacist. Dreaming of starting a business abroad, he moved to Cambodia in 2013. In 2015, he discovered the vacation rental business, and co-founded SpaciaNet with Va Kora with the goal of bridging Cambodia's talented young people with Japan. He also serves as the Representative Director of SpaciaNet Japan, Inc., the Japanese entity established in June 2021. Areas of expertise: corporate sales, customer satisfaction management, project management.
Wataru Aoki brings extensive domestic and international business experience and is an expert in multilingual communication and cross-cultural dialogue. His strong aspirations and convictions drive our company to continuously pursue the No. 1 position in the vacation rental industry. He has established the company's reputation as a provider of outstanding services by sincerely addressing customer needs and promoting the use of digital technology.
Director, CTO Va Kora
Va Kora: Co-founder and CTO. Born in 1986. After completing a master's degree at the University of Electro-Communications, he worked at Rakuten Travel's development team at Rakuten, Inc. He then returned independently to his hometown of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and co-founded SpaciaNet with Wataru Aoki. Areas of expertise: digital technology, AI, CRM, IT industry, and business analytics. Together with Aoki, he is realizing a vision to support Japan's vacation rental industry through digital technology and multilingual support.
Va Kora is a specialist with extensive experience in digital technology and marketing. His diligence and passion for improvement drive the optimization of the company's business processes and services. With an international perspective, he leverages his ability to handle diverse cultures and languages to provide customers with the best possible solutions.
Va Kora is active in industry, government, and academia, serving as the President of the Japan Alumni Association of Cambodia (JAC) and as an advisor to the Cambodian Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC). JAC MPTC
